Some of the questions you may have
1. You're in Far North Queensland, and I'm based elsewhere - will this be a problem?
No. Once you have a web site you will be dealing with people remotely as a matter of course. Doing business with us long distance will act as a practice run for doing it yourself in future with your own customers.
We have many interstate and overseas clients we've never even met, and we can guide you through everything.
2. Will you take equity in my web site/business as payment?
A. Unfortunately, no.
3. I got somebody cheap to build my site. Can you fix it up for me?
A. Yes, we would be happy to help. There is often a perception that charges will vary based on the amount already spent with a previous developer. This isn't the case and it often it works out cheaper to start again than to patch up a poorly structured or badly coded web site.
4. What are your Terms?
Everything is kept simple! A quote shall be given at the onset, based on information supplied. Once the initial designs are approved, a 30% deposit will become due for payment.
- all artwork, designs and html files shall remain the property of Emma Broe Designs until final payment is made - see full 'terms'
- full payment shall become due 14 days from date of invoice, unless otherwise agreed.
5. In what format do I need to supply images and text?
*Images are, preferably supplied on a CD in RGB JPEG format, 150dpi. We can scan photographs although this will incur an extra charge. Text is to be supplied as a Word document and can be sent via email. (Extra charges will apply if you require manual typing)
*If you have a site update and you have a few images to send through, email is fine.
